There are black specks in my Spicy Honey - what are they?No worries! We use dehydrated chili peppers to infuse our raw honey to create the amazing flavor of Firebee Spicy Honey. Sometimes some tiny pieces of pepper can fit through that screen and end up in the bottles of honey. This is totally normal and expected. Over time many of those small particles can make their way to the top and gather together - other than making that next bite a little spicier there is nothing at all to worry about.
